BTConnect emails - how to delete/manage without an account

jwintermute

Hello there!

Many years ago my company paid for business broadband at my home, which I took over when they were no longer willing to pay. I had to change to another provider  (no fault of BT's), however the emails kept working (via Microsoft).

As I have no BT account, I have to way to manage the accounts. From what I gather from other posts, it doesn't look like it's possible to switch these to a Premium account - is that true?

If not, I know it's a bit drastic but I think the best option is to delete them - how to I go about that?

Many thanks!

John

Hi John

Yes there is no way to keep a BTconnect email address once the linked services are cancelled. The email addresses would then be deleted by our systems automatically. Are you able to log into your BTconnect email still?

Hi Beth,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am able to access my email accounts via outlook.office.com.

Look like perhaps there's been a glitch in the matrix! 😃

I'm not able to manage the accounts other than change passwords etc.

Are you able to arrange for them to be deleted? If not, what can I do?

Cheers, John
