I've got a btconnect.com email address which is supplied as standard email as part of my broadband package. On Wednesday it stopped working. After 2 days and over 5 hours on calls to various helpdesks, we've been told that it's unrecoverable and all data has been lost as these email addresses are not on a supported platform and not supported by UK based support teams. However my broadband package seems to indicate that this is a standard email service with UK based tech support.
What's going on, and how can we gain access to use the email address again as well as restore the data that appears to have vanished into the ether?
Same problem here - been customers for 20 years and business emails have completely disappeared - what was the point of paying for a business account? This is devastating for a small business like ours.
