I am using my BT account to send emails - my account is btconnect with a btclick alias and I am using Thunderbird with OWL (https://www.beonex.com/owl/) (OWL sends as an Office365 email account)
to send. I send to a list of email addresses and every one receives the email except for two blueyonder users. Blueyonder returns an error 550 5.4.300 Message expired. I thought it might be a case of needing to be whitelisted but apparently blueyonder don't have whitelists. In any case, I can't see why blueyonder would object to valid BT addresses. Is there anything I can do to get blueyonder to accept my emails? Blueyonder is now Virgin Media.
Hi pamelapuk
You will need to contact the provider of these email addresses.
Hi Beth
I have tried and tried to get Virgin to accept btconnect.com via Outlook emails. They just keep refusing to even look at it as I don't have an account with them. Other people have complained about it and got nowhere with Virgin either. Since the email address btconnect.com is a perfectly valid BT business email address I cannot see why BT and Virgin cannot sort this out between them.
Hi pamelapuk
Can you please send me over a private message so we can discuss this further? Thanks
