I have a current web and email host (will not name and shame just yet!), where the web hosting has been satisfactory, but the email service has been pretty bad. This was on their in-house cloud hosting solution. They are moving to cPanel hosting (in some distributed form) and convinced me to 'upgrade' to it. Well the new service is terrible. The web hosting has insufficient features to be useful and the email service is literally less than 50% reliable on sending email. I am looking not only for recommendations for small business hosting that is actually reliable, but also discussion on the features to look for. I am starting to understand that email hosting these days is coming down to three forms, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and cPanel. Is that correct? Are there any other considerations for identifying reliability characteristics in a hosting provider's services and products?
