Pop3 email lite not working on outlook desktop on laptop, or on android phone.
Webmail is working, however need desktop laptop for access to emails and for back up of emails etc.
how do i overcome this, use emails for business and need access to old emails

Please try the following steps:
In Outlook, click Tools => E-mail Accounts.
Click View or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next.
Click the account of type POP/SMTP (Default) and click Change.
Click More Settings.
Click the Advanced tab.
Make sure SSL is not used and POP3 port is 110 (default). Click OK.

Is there a solution for this that works? I have wasted so long trying to check settings etc - got on the phone to BT and told this problem has been ongoing since October and there is such a backlog of affected customers now that we might want to consider moving email hosting to another provider! This is because BT has made such a mess of this, they don't think it will be sorted before August!!! Absolutely astounding that a company the size of BT is just shrugging its corporate shoulders and saying 'go elsewhere'...
