Here are some tips to fix problems with btconnect and Outlook:

Check your internet connection: Make sure that your internet connection is stable and working properly. This can be done by trying to access other websites and services.

Check your BT email settings: Make sure that your email settings are correct. You can find these settings on the BT website or by contacting their customer support team.

Update your Outlook software: Make sure that you are using the latest version of Outlook. This can be done by checking for updates in the "Help" or "Account" sections of the software.

Delete and re-add your email account: Sometimes, deleting and re-adding your email account in Outlook can help to resolve issues. This can be done in the "Account Settings" section of the software.

Disable antivirus and firewall software: Antivirus and firewall software can sometimes interfere with email services. Try disabling these temporarily to see if this resolves the issue.

Clear your Outlook cache: Clearing your Outlook cache can help to resolve issues with email synchronization. This can be done in the "File" menu under "Options" and "Advanced."

Contact BT customer support: If none of the above steps work, contact BT customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance for resolving issues with their email service and Outlook.

Hi Phihubert

You will need to log in via webmail to access your email at outlook.office.com. You can't access BTconnect emails via the Outlook mail client as POP3 authentication has been turned off by Microsoft.

Hi

Is there a way around this?

Are BT looking into a way that we can get our Outlook mail client back up and working. Have a lot of e-mails/settings  saved on here.

Web browser version is not preferred by me.
