We are a small business in the UK and rely heavily on telephone calls for business enquiries.
Our phone line was connected by copper cable and we were pressured/pursueded to have this removed and take on a digital contract, which would provide us with Broadband and allow us to continue with our existing phone number.
After a few false starts the installation finally happened and the broadband was up and running within a few hours.
However the phone line was not connected and we were told it would be the next day... then 2-3 days...then nothing. It is now well over a month without our essential business line.
Many calls and hours of conversations with customer services have been made and many promises of action ( with dates given ) have been made and broken.
We have made official complaints and still nothing is happening. Even today we received a phone call with a promise to call back at a set time, which of course didnt happen.
Something is seriously wrong with your communications and customer service.
You have us over a barrel BT and in the meantime we are losing business due to your inability to get things done in a proper manner.
I have looked into complaining to the communications ombudsman but that process takes at least 8 weeks before they look at it, by which time our business will really suffer and employee jobs may be lost.
What do I do now ? How do I escalate this to someone who will take action and keep a promise. Please advise before my business goes down the drain.
Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that despite all your efforts we've failed to sort things out for you. I apologise. Would you mind sending over a private message with the official complaint reference, or any details we can use here, to escalate this for you now. Thank you so much, Alan
