Just had a message from one of our admin ladies left by someone at BT - “we need to speak to your IT manager urgently - you are at risk of losing your lease line and we need to sort it ASAP”
I call the number they left after checking it’s a genuine BT number. After much humming and hawing they start fishing for info: “how many offices do you have? Do you use any BT products? Can we schedule a call to discuss our discounted offers?”
He lied to our admin that we might lose our service, but it was a sales call.
