BT Versatility

Hi there,

We are quite a small business and have had the versatility for a number of years. We like it as the feature phones are good for the office, but equally almost any telephone can be used on the system. 

I have known for some time that you can connect sip trunks to this device. We have always used it on PSTN - but with that switching off we will be moving to our own sip service if we can, and we don’t want to replace the system. The manual mentiones BT Broadband Voice (old I assume), but doesn’t mention if you can use any other sip trunk or how you even set it up!

can someone with knowledge of the system help us out please. Many thanks.

Thanks for your post. 

I've contacted a colleague in our SIP Provision team to see if he can advise on the compatibility of Versatility with SIP. As far as I can tell, this should be possible via the SIP Trunk Gateway but I'll be back in touch once I hear more on this.
