Hello All,
We have BT WHC Sip Trunks connected to a PBX Phone System.
We have an external diversion from the PBX Phone system to a mobile, but the CLI of the initial caller is not being passed through.
The same settings on the PBX work with another SIP Provider, so it could be an issue on BT WHC.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Hello!
When an external diversion from your PBX doesn't pass the original caller's ID (CLI) via BT WHC SIP Trunks, it's typically because the BT network is stripping essential SIP headers like P-Asserted-Identity peryourhealth during the call forwarding process. Since your PBX settings work with other providers, the issue lies with BT's network configuration. The only way to resolve this is to contact BT Wholesale support directly and ask them to ensure their network passes the original CLI through for diverted calls.
