I was called by the sales team in June this year & told I needed to upgrade to digital for my business, if I didn’t do it within 3 months I would lose my number,a number we had for over 20 years, I was told it was very easy, just get the new phone plug it in & my old number would be ported over….
I was pressurised into signing, phone calls & emails & didn’t want to lose our number, got the new phone, nightmare to set up & then when the next bill came in it was double what it usually was, at no point was any of this pointed out by my account manager.
Thereafter whenever I tried to speak to her,always busy, left the office, on lunch, on leave. Tried to speak to a manager,they never called me back or emailed.
Subsequently having gone back to BT who have been investigating my dispute since then & no resolution, they have admitted it’s a mis selling case, this has been going on for 4 months now, no-one ever calls & lets me know what’s happening. It’s a very stressful situation & I just can’t understand why it can’t be resolved.I have never experienced anything like this in 20 yers of being with BT.
