BT BUSINESS HAVE SCREWED MY BUSINESS UP BIG TIME WHEN SWITCHED FROM RESIDENTIAL TO BUSINESS

i SWITCHED MY RESIDENTIAL LINE, WHICH I HAVE HAD FOR 6 YEARS NOW BACK IN DEC 14TH 09 TO A BUSINESS LINE BECAUSE WHEN I SPOKE TO A SALES TEAM THEY SAID I COULD HAVE AN ALL INCLUSIVE MINUITES CALL PACKAGE 5000 MINS LANDLINE AND 300 MINS TO MOBILE ANYTIME AND MY TOTAL FOR MY BILL WITH LINE RENTAL AND VAT WOULD COME TO  £45.14 PER MONTH.

 

THEN I RECIEVED A WELCOME TO THE SERVICE EMAIL BACK ON 21ST DECEMBER WITH THE ORDER NUMBER.

 

THE PROBLEM IS AND I HAVE REGRETED SWITCHING, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND IT HAS BEEN MAKING MY LIFE, A LIVING HELL, EVERY DAY WORRYING, AS I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT HASSLE AND BT SENDING ME LARGE BILLS DEMANDING MONEY FOR PAYMENT OF PHONE CALLS,THREATENING TO CUT ME OFF AND RUIN MY ESTABLISHED BUSINESS, WHICH HAS BEEN BUILT UP OVER THE LAST SIX YEARS.

 

I HAVE HAD TO CALL BT NEAR ENOUGH EVERY WEEK NOW EXPLAINING ALL THIS TO THEM THAT I SHOULD BE HAVING A FLAT MONTHLY RATE WITH ALL INCLUSIVE MINS AND I SHOULD NOT BE PAYING INDIVIDUALLY FOR EACH CALL, WHICH IS WHAT I AM BEING BILLED FOR, BUT IT DOES NOT SEEM TO MAKE A LOT OF DIFFERENCE ,THEY STILL SEEM TO IGNORE THE FACT I SIGNED UP TO A ALL INCLUSIVE CALL PACKAGE,THEY JUST KEEP FILLING MY HEAD ON THE PHONE EACH TIME I CALL TO COMPLAIN WITH A REFERENCE NUMBER AND TELL ME TO IGNORE THE THREATENING BILLS AND LETTERS I KEEP GETTING BUT A WEEK OR SO LATER THEY SEND ME ANOTHER THREATENING BILL OR LETTER ,ONE THIS WEEK FROM THE CREDIT MANAGEMENT TEAM TELLING ME THEY ARE GOING TO CUT ME OFF UNLESS I PAY THE AMOUNT STATED,AND RUIN MY BUSINESS.

 

EACH TIME I HAVE CALLED BT TO EXPLAIN THEY TELL ME TO IGNORE THE LETTER AND TELL ME SOME ONE WILL CALL ME AS THEY HAVE NOTED ON THERE SYSTEM THERE IS AN ON GOING ISSUE.

 

NO ONE HAS CALLED ME AND THE PROBLEM WITH THEM STILL THREATEING ME HAPPENS EVERY WEEK NOW

 

IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME ME SWITCHING FROM A RESIDENTIAL LINE TO A BUSINESS LINE,I REALLY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE CONNED ME,SOME ONE IN THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR FOR ALL OF THIS MAKING MY LIFE HELL,THEY NEED TO BE SACKED FOR THESE FALSE PROMISES I WAS MADE BACK IN DEC 09 ITS MAKING ME FEEL VERY ILL AND EFFECTING THE WAY IM RUNNING MY BUSINESS AND BELIEVE I AM IN NEED OF GOING TO MY GP FOR NOT FEELING VERY WELL THROUGH IT ALL.

 

I AM LOOKING FOR A WAY OR DEPARTMENT TO ESCALATE THIS NOW AS I REALLY NEED HELP AS THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE CONNED BY BT.

 

IF ANY ONE CAN HELP WITH ANYTHING I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

HAVE YOU GOT AN OXYGEN TANK YOU CAN SUPPLY ME, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HOLDING MY BREATH SINCE JANUARY NOW FOR THIS TO BE  TO SORTED OUT AND I AM TOTALLY DRAINED BY YOUR COMPANY BY.

 

HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO GET THIS PROBLEM SORTED OUT

I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE JANUARY AND HAVE BEEN TOTALY SUFFERING WITH RECIEVING FRUSTARTING THREATENING LETTERS WITH DEMANDS FOR MONEY FOR BILLS,WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR A CALL PACKAGE

THERE SHOULD BE NO MORE REASON OR NECCESATY FOR DISCUSSION WITH ME ON THE MATTER ITS SIMPLE

 

The whole objective to switching to the call plan back in dec was to save money


 Bt sent a flier  out through royal mail in december promoting call plans
 
  The call packages about unlimited calls to landline and mobile


 But had to transfer the line from residential to bt bussiness


 So i went along with it back in dec

 

I recieved a welcome email from btbusiness after excepting the call plan package and signing up in december 09


  now all i wanted was to pay my monthly call plan as from jan 10


 No way would i use up all 5000 mins landline and 300 mins mobile in one mont  £43 approx per month inc line rental and call plan mins and vat

 

Hope this is written out easy enough to be understood and show there is no reason for further discussion on the matter i just want the contract i signed up for and not to be ripped off by BT

i've had similar problems with calling plans - i signed up for unlimited calling in november, the order got screwed up twice, i got a refund for calls i'd been charged for eventually.

 

then i got another bill and it seems they still hadn't added the unlimited 5000 plan to my package (only the inclusive 500) and was promised further refunds, after the oneplan supervisor essentially called me a liar when i said someone gave me a credit note previously as i'd signed up months earlier.

 

i've just got another bill and whilst i'm now not charged for those calls, i still haven't had the 2nd refund, a month later, or an apology.....

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY MATE IN MY FORUM POST. TODAY THEY CALLED ME AFTER POSTING BAD FEEDBACK IN HERE AND ALSO TWITTER.

 

THEY TOLD ME NOT TO PAY ANY BILL YET AND THEY HAVE WORKED OUT FINALY I SIGNED UP FOR THE 5000 MIN AND 500 MIN CALL PLAN BACK IN DEC09, FOUR MONTHS AFTER RECIEVING MY WELCOME EMAIL

.I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW SLOW THESE PEOPLE ARE.

 

I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECIEVE APROX £102 CREDIT ON A OUSTANDING BILL OF ABOUT £320 BUT THE MATHS ON THIS DOES STILL NOT SEEM TO ADD UP AS THE MONTHLY CALL PLAN WAS FIXED AT £38 PER MONTH,SO TIMES THIS BY FOUR (JAN TO APRIL) AND THAT STILL DOES NOT SEEM TO CALCULATE TO WHAT I SHOULD BE OWING AFTER THE RE-CREDIT TAKES PLACE,AT THE FIXED CALL PACKAGE RATE OF £38 PM

 

I AM STILL DOUBTFULL AND FEEL LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN BT,TO WETHER THIS IS FINNALY SORTED AND THE MATHS HAS BEEN DONE PROPERLY ON WHAT I SHOULD BE PAYING,WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE EMPLOYED AND HAVE A JOB IF THEY CANT DO MATHS 38X4 DOES NOT  COME TO MORE THAN £200 OR EVEN £320 LIKE THEY SAY.

 

I WILL CONTINUE TO LEAVE BAD FEEDBACK ON HERE AND TWITTER UNTILL I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY THAT THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND I AM ALSO HAPPY WITH THERE MATHS OF WORKING OUT MY FLAT RATE CALL PACKAGE OF £38PM I  WAS GIVEN WHEN I SIGNED UP IN DEC 09.IT HAS BEEN 4 MONTHS NOW AND BT IS A COMPLETE DISASTER DO FAR BY WHAT I HAVE SEEN

God, looks like BT screwed me as well. I placed ordered almost month back which they still have not install the line, it was BT unlimited 5000 plan and I was told using that 5000 plan I can call UK mobile, landline and around the world on landline free and as long as I want.

MAYBE IF WE GET ENOUGH THEY MIGHT START TO REALISE ANGRY CUSTOMERS FOR ONCE.
