Hi,

I'm afraid that we currently only provide support for the BT Falcon phone. Other handsets may be compatible, but we are not able to guarantee service.

Hi Minichedder,

The 2800V not a phone but a router! The setting I displayed are the configuration settings  for a router

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ken,

Sorry for not clarifying.

The only hardware we offer VoIP support for is that which is in the BT Business portfolio. This includes the BT Falcon, 2700v Business Hub, 220v etc.

We will look to expanding this support in future, but this is currently the case in order to be able guarantee a stable experience and quality of service.

Perhaps another forum member may be able to help you? I believe Draytek also have their own forum.

Hi Minichedder,

yes I've been on many forums and only came across this one during a web search, where you were assisting someone. I memory serves me right you were saying BT can't help with every router the " after saying that here is the setting you require" so I thought I'd ask for your help also???

This is rubbish.

It was BT that paid me to go and purchase another router as when they upgraded the exchange i was no longer getting a connection with their 2wire. So how can BT say they dont support any router when its BT that is telling me to get a different becouse of their problems they havent got a fix with. I had a working Voip line now losing calls becouse of it.

Hi,

I'm really sorry, but we only offer support for the official BT hardware.

This is outlined in the Terms and Conditions of the service. I don't believe that we have offered preferencial treatment to any customer on the forum, but I apologise if this appears to be the case.

If you contact the helpdesk, they will do their best to assist you.
