Good Evening all,
Running Exchange 2010 here - Coming over from Virgin Media (awful) and was wondering if you also have an SMTP smart host for customers to use?
Regards,
Josh

Hi Josh,
Sorry the above information is not correct, for smarthosting if we can validate that you own the domain name, we need to add this to your account and allow upto 24 hours propogation.
The server you need to use at this point would be:
smtp.btconnect.com port 25 ssl off. If on a BT line outgoing authentication would be turned off, if on a 3rd party line, authentication needs to be turned on.
Thanks,
Steve

I phoned up the technical team today and they gave me the details of:
smtp.outlook.com
Is this right?
All I am getting right now are bounce backs stating:
pod51008.outlook.com #550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender ##
