Desperately need help with my super slow business broadband. Has any member out there found any way of getting past the ridiculously continuous runaround you get when you try to get any help. I believed I had a 20meg package....turns out that it is a capped 8 meg package that runs at an average of .3megs................yes I did say .3 can you believe it. It has nearly ruined my business with failed ideas due to the POOR broadband. Even after 3 months of continuous daily badgering BT for help all I get is passed from pillar to post, to the point of being lied to by BT staff (which can be proved) please please please can anyone help me to get passed the you are on hold phenomena to resolve the constant state of limbo I am in.
Call them and say you wish to make an oficial complaint. You should be given a complains number and they should get back to you within a specified time. This was the only way I managed to speak to anyone with the power to sort out the terrible mess they made of our accounts.
we tried that even got a complaint number, name and area but nobody knew about it, told by one person contarct has ended 2 years ago yet got email to say runs out end this year, reply to that was can not comment what sombody else has said BOY do we need help bad
I would suggest you check all of your emails and paperwork to see if you have any duplicate accounts (check account numbers). We had at least 4 phantom accounts which were causing all sorts of confusion. You probably need to call and say you want to cancel your accounts and get put through to retensions. These guys have the power to sort problems out. Also keep chasing up the complaints people. Get a new complaints number if necessary. BT is broken from start to finish simply because different parts of BT cannot communicate with each other. You may have a long fight on your hands.
