Linking files in FTP for publishing

Hi,

I have a few html files in my Public folder and would like to link the files

to my homepage named index.html.

Can you plz help me in linking the files so that  when the homepage is viewed there are links to other files.

What web authoring software are you using? Are you coding the site by hand? We will need more information!
