Hi, BT customer service.
Please please help me from prank calls.
I am suffering from prank calls for around 3 months. I don't know who make such calls.
He/she or They make calls to my business line and just hang up when I answer the phone.
(Ringing last until I answer the phone)
Last month, my husband had reported this to police and BT already but still prank calls come often and interrup my business. Furthermore, as such prank calls last, it drives me mad and annoy. I am mentally suffering from prank calls.
Please help me.
Police said I need to check these prank calls record to BT first.
I have written down some prank calls records. Couldn't make records every prank calls because He/She or They calls when I am doing my business.

Hi there Shinkim,
I have removed your email address from the post to protect your privacy, it is always best to keep your information anonymous when posting on a publicly accessible forum.
As for the malicious calls - I have done a bit of research on this and found help and advise on how to deal with these as well as services that BT offer to help remove these.
I found this on the residential help pages but though that this was good advise
Malicious calls can be upsetting, but you can take some simple precautions when answering the phone.
If you're getting abusive, threatening or obscene calls, then you should report them to the police. It will help if you note down the date, time and number that called, along with any other information.
There is also an official OFCOM help page for this which will help you deal with these - here is the page.
BT also offer services to help block these, I will mention that these are chargeable options that you can take if you wish.
These include
Caller Display - See who is calling and make it easier to get the callers number
Choose to Refuse - allows you to block certain numbers from getting through to you
Anonymous Call Reject - Prevent any anonymous calls from coming through to you.
I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck with this obviously frustrating situation.

IF the calls come from a telemarketing provider based in the UK and they use services provided by BT then it could be in breach of contract therefore subject to some form of penalty.
