Primary domain and redirecting

I recently took the BT Web Hosting and BT Advanced Web Hosting to gain access to all the advanced options and tools.

I wanted to maintain my .co.uk domain as my primary domain and have all the advanced tools available to this domain such as EasySiteOptimizer. When I went to activate the two web hosting packages there was no option to select my .co.uk domain, only my .org.uk domain. I contacted technical help who took control of my machine and activated the web hosting using my .org.uk domain which I understand means I can't make my .co.uk domain the primary domain. At the same time the advanced web hosting package was still to be activated but had no means to do it. I was informed that this was not a problem as it was activated although it doesn't show it. Left it for 24hrs and went back and it was still not activated. When I took out another domain name it then became available for activation but only option was to use the new domain name of .org. Now have three domains when I only want .co.uk. Can't redirect my domains to .co.uk and only have the advanced tools on my .org domain.

Feel let down as I called help desk because the site told me that if I choose primary domain I can't change it, so I wanted to know why I couldn't see the option of choosing my .co.uk domain. They had control and they said it was okay and now appear to be stuck.

Anyone know how to get round this problem?

I have been asking BT for 8 weeks to cancel 2 web hosting packages from my account as they have the wrong domain names on them and received the reply below.

 

 

You need to cancel the hosting pack by calling our Customer Options Team on 0800 800 871 and then log into www.myoffice.bt.com and order a new hosting package to activate the domain against.

 

I have done this for the 3rd time now including today 13th September, and was passed from Customers options, to web hosting help desk, then to the cancellations department and back to hosting with no result.

Now after at least 6 calls and several departments over a period of 1.45 mins and being asked each time my security questions I was told at the last Hosting visit that my answers did not coincide with what they had on their computer. Funny how they coincide with every other department who asked me. I was told I will have to set all this up again.

 

I still don't have the web hosting cancelled and the guy on the other end of the phone was useless.

 

I cannot send an email to a particular address as this keeps being bounced back to me saying it does not exist.

I am still waiting on this to be sorted.

I never had any problem with it until the BT Server went down and left me with no internet connections for 9 days.

 

I could go on and on.

 

Is anyone going to help me or do I have to go to the obudsman to get this resolved?
