Unable to set up new domain email due to conflict with bt.com billing login

Have had this problem for 5 days now and seem to be getting nowhere.  We have just migrated our service across to BT, little hiccup with the domain coming across but that was sorted out fairly quickly.

 

I then set about creating our domain email accounts, all which went well until I wanted to set up our main email account - admin@lenco.co.uk

 

I received an error about the account already existing (or something similar).  After two days of phone calls to support it was established on Friday that as we have used this email address as a user name for the bt.com billing login it was seeing that and would not let me create the domain email.  After calls on Friday of last week where we unsuccessfully tried to change the username on the account it was agreed today that the profile would need to be removed or renamed.

I have now just received an email asking which account I would like removing from my profile.  Smiley Mad

 

IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE FROM BT, PLEASE CAN YOU DELETE ADMIN@LENCO.CO.UK FROM ANYWHERE IS IT ON YOUR SYSTEMS SO I CAN SET UP MY DOMAIN EMAIL.

 

WE ARE A SMALL BUSINESS AND THAT ACCOUNT IS OUR MAIN POINT OF CONTACT WHICH HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 5 DAYS.

If you are to ask them to delete this account, everything will be lost. I am not sure if it is possible for them to rename it, but it should work as other companies are able to do it. I guess it won't be hard for BT. If you contact them again, be sure to be straightforward.

Been trying to do that since Friday of last week but am getting nowhere.
