My site was designed bt BT using BT eshop(£25) which I am paying monthly. Customers cannot write any reviews at the moment with this package. I am planning to upgrade my package to eshop elite which has a review feature and I need advice whether adding reviews to the site will increase my sales. Please advice and any other ideas would be of great help.

Sharing pleasant customer experience is always a positive experience, I would highly recommend the upgrade.

Hi
There is no guarantee that adding reviews to your shop will automatically mean your sales will improve. What it will do is improve customer experience. Allowing people to read how other customers liked an item or service means they may be more likely to use that service or product themselves. Also giving people the opportunity to come back to your site and leave a review (or asking them to come back and leave a review) means the site becomes more familiar and friendly, so they might be more likely to use it again.
It may help to first look around Business's sales sites on the Internet and see how their reviews work to see if this is the kind of service you would like for your customers.
I hope this helps
Kind Regards
Fiona
