hi,
i've got 2 different domains both with the same problem.
both work fine as www.<domain>.net, but without the www i keep getting 403 forbidden status. any ideas?
i'm sure this is really simple but i've got no idea.
cheers
james
Hi James,
If you private message your domains to myself I will look into this as soon as possible.

Ian.
Hi james,
Many thanks have just sent you a message.
You should be able to view you site without the www part within the next 4 hours.

Ian
Ian1974: what change did you make here, out of interest? Just in case anyone else is having the same issue.
evilpop: is it ok now?
James,
Domain was using Url forwarding only on the WWW record and not the (@ none record).
If using the basic domain console to do this (see screenshot below) this only allows you to set forwarding on the
www record.
To resolve this customers need to use "Advanced manager" and set up the forwarding as per screenshot below.
Hi
However customers can always use the dns enquiry form here if they wish for a member of the Dns team to carry out the request.
Sorry about quality of screen grab however if customers right click and save as they can view the full version.
But once in the domain console just carry out the following.
1. Type - Url or Frame.
(Url forwarding will change the address in the browser bar to the destination address and Frame will keep the original address typed in the browser bar).
2. Key - www to access website via http://www.yourdomain.com and @ to access via http://yourdomain.com.
3. Address - Address where you wish to direct the domain to (needs to be in the format of http://www.yourdomain.com).
Regards,
Ian
That's great, thanks Ian
