edit header on Joomla website

Hi,  i have a website built & hosted by BT but is a Joomla template.I have edited it enormously and want to change the header at the top of each page but i cannot find any way of doing so.ANY IDEAS ?

PLEASE NOTE .....I am almost computer illiterate so please be understanding of this poor old guy.

Some css and HTML work need on it.

You can install firebug in your browser and can take help to find out css and HTML you have to change .
