Hi
Having problems with a free @btconnect.com account as part of a bt domain
incoming is fine in outlook, webmail is fine but outlook outgoing fails to authenticate
The user is overseas.
Tried mail.btconnect.com and smtp.btconnect.com in outlook but fails
Tried ticking authenticate for outgoing server
BT Support remoted on and couldnt do it either.
Any other ideas?

Does the ISP of the user block port 25?

if port 25 is blocked are there any options?
This has already been answered on the BT Forums earlier on and has some useful information about ISP's blocking port 25.
I can receive Emails but con not send our reply to Emails
