Changed account in July still being billed for previous account

Changed package and accounts from BT to BT in July but still being billed for the first account that was cancelled . 

Spoke to someone who confirmed that they will get it cancelled and had emails confirming the dates an he told me that they bills will be credited. No credit has appeared and I now have 3 "outstanding" invoices for services I haven't received and have been cancelled
