Has anyone experienced problems with their landline when switching from Residential to Business. Also I have not received any paperwork from BT to tell me what my monthly direct debit will be as I signed up for a deal they had of £29.99 a month and £42.00 was taken from my account I have stopped payment until resolved.

If you believe you've been overcharged or charged incorrectly, it's within your right to pause the direct debit until the issue is resolved. However, it's important to communicate with BT about your intention to stop the payment and your reasons for doing so.
