I have taken over as Chair for a Community Hall and there are no records as to who set up the broadband account. You'd have though there should be but there was nothing at the hand over.
We get no letters but we are still paying for an using a £50 pcm for Broad band only package.
How can I get into the account to update the details when I don't know who's name its set up as? I only have the details from the back of the hub.
Thanks

It sounds like a bit of a tricky situation. First, check with the broadband provider—most have a customer service line or chat where they can help identify the account using the router’s serial number or the details from the hub. If you explain the situation, they may allow you to prove your association with the Community Hall and update the account. If that doesn't work, see if there's any documentation from past payments that could point to the account holder's name. Also, consider asking anyone else involved in the hall's management who might know more about the account's setup.
Hi JFitton
Can you please send me a private message with all the details off the back of the router so I can do some digging?
