At BT Business, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. For over 30 years, we’ve been on a journey to reduce our carbon footprint and lead the way in environmental responsibility.
We’re committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2031, and we’ve extended this goal to include our supply chain and customer emissions, aiming for net zero by 2041. We’ve made substantial progress by cutting our operations carbon emissions by 57%, as well as reducing our supply chain emissions by 19%. We’ve also switched to 100% renewable electricity worldwide.
Our commitment to sustainability also includes adopting a circular business model by 2030. This approach focuses on minimising waste and maximising the reuse and recycling of materials, creating a more sustainable and efficient business model that benefits both the environment and the economy.
We’re dedicated to helping our customers reduce their carbon emissions and achieve their own sustainability targets. Through innovative solutions like the Digital Carbon Calculator and the Carbon Network Dashboard, we provide tools and insights to help businesses measure, monitor, and reduce their carbon footprint. We’ve already helped customers reduce their CO2 emissions by 935,000 tons and are committed increasing this to 60 million tons by 2030.
