I am speaking on behalf of a church office .I am getting complaints about the broadband speed and capacity. The church office normally has one part time person but sometimes goes up to two people, the second person being a youth leader The youth leader is experimenting with video clips.
It is quite slow and sometimes cuts out completely for an hour or so. The youth leader is having problems downloading all his video clips and can only download them at home. He mentions that the church is paying BT more than £172 a quarter for the internet. Is this not too much and are there better and cheaper upgrades available.? Your thoughts would be most welcome.

Hello,
Yes, £172 per quarter (about £57/month) is quite high for a small office setup. You can likely get faster and more reliable full fibre broadband for less. Providers like Vodafone, TalkTalk, and Sky offer plans starting around £24–£30/month with speeds up to 150–500 Mbps, which would easily support video work. Switching to a full fibre plan or a provider with better upload speeds and reliability could solve the dropout issues and save money. Check postcode availability before switching.

Hi, slow internet is really frustrating and I'm sorry to hear this is happening. Do you mind sending a private message over with some details so our team, here in Dundee/Glasgow, can have a closer look at this and pricing. Thank you, Alan
