We've been experiencing intermittent slow upload speeds on our BT Business Broadband connection. We are on the Business Standard Fibre plan.
Our download speeds generally seem consistent with our plan, but the upload speeds fluctuate significantly. At times, they are acceptable, but other times they drop considerably, making tasks like uploading files, backing up data, and video conferencing unreliable. This inconsistency has started to impact our business operations.
We have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Restarted our BT Business Hub multiple times.
Checked our internal network and confirmed no excessive bandwidth usage from our devices.
Run speed tests at various times of the day, which confirm the fluctuating upload speeds (while download speeds remain relatively stable).
Checked the BT Business Service Status page for any reported outages in our area (none found).
Has anyone else in the BT Business community, particularly in India or the Gujarat region, experienced similar intermittent slow upload speeds?
We are looking for advice on:
Potential causes for this intermittent upload speed issue.
Further troubleshooting steps we can take on our end.
Information on whether there might be any known issues with BT services in our area affecting upload speeds.
How best to report this issue to BT Business support to ensure it's investigated effectively.
