I have a BT smart hub business 3 router, I had to buy this router as I have had so many BT smart hub 2 routers that have gone wrong and BT tech support can not find the fault, so that why I had to buy the BT smart hub business 3 router, the issue I am facing is that I am trying to record the French open tennis on TNT sport, the box shows that it is recording but when I come to play the recording back the box is showing recording failed, BT tech support can not help with because I am using a router they do not cover, but they told me that the firmware on the router was not up to date, I find this hard to believe when they told me that they do not support the router.
I am not a BT business customer but am asking you very kindly find you could help me with this issue.

It sounds like you are a BT residential customer. They are correct in their assertion they do not support 3rd party routers, which is a BT Business router would be. Firmware updates are automatic for BT Business routers, as long as they are connected to the internet. It sounds it could be an issue with your TV box, unfortunately we can't assist any further with this.
