Can't seem to get an answer to this. BT is becoming impenetrable if you have a simple question.
What should the MTU be for connecting to BT Broadband.
I've always used 1492 - is there any change in this?
You can up it to 1500, but it probably makes no difference. Worry about more important things!

OK. I now have my new Hub - and a test of the MTU says that I should use 1492.
IP fragmentation is not a good thing and really should be avoided.
