I've noted down a good tutorial for doing this but it leaves a few unanswered questions:
Once it's setup correctly and working, can I use the ethernet ports on the Hub to access the parent network as if it was a switch?
Is it possible to clone the parent network SSID for seamless roaming throughout the house?

Hello,
A few years ago I tried this and let's just say it was problematic after a few days - clients would drop off the network. I don't think any of the BT hubs are designed to be used in this way. You are better off getting a dedicated WiFi access point to do the job, or mesh type solution. If you need additional ethernet ports, buy an ethernet switch - they are cheap enough if you want something basic.
