Turning off the blue light on the front of the extenders

I have a BT Complete Wi Fi Plus extender in a room where we sleep. The bright blue light keeps is awake. Is there a way to turn it off?

Step-by-step: Turn the light off on your BT Wi‑Fi Disc

Step 1 — Open the BT app

• Open the My BT app
  (or the BT Business App if you’re a BT Business customer).

Step 2 — Go to ‘Your Networks’

• From the home screen, look for Your Networks.
• Tap to open the section where all connected discs are listed.

Step 3 — Select the Wi‑Fi Disc

• Pick the disc located in the bedroom (or whichever room has the bright light).
• The app will show settings specific to that disc.

Step 4 — Go to ‘Disc light setting’

• Inside the disc settings, find Disc light setting.
• This controls the brightness of the LED.

Step 5 — Set the light to Off

• Choose between High, Low, or Off.
• Select Off to completely disable the blue light.
• BT confirms the disc will still alert you of faults even when the light is off.
