Hi,
I have a BT Hub Manager with firmware (v0.41.01.10137-BT). I have disabled my firewall with a now red-status off, but I am still unable to ping my public IP (nor the public DNS servers) from external. I am also unable to browse to my hub web page externally also.
Do I need to ask BT IT team to allow pings and other traffic through incoming to my BT hub?

Are you a business or domestic customer? Which Smart Hub do you have? On my BT Business Smarthub 1 there is a setting to allow incoming pings. It's under advanced settings, firewall.
Do you have a static IP?
