I have tried to connect wired network connection using modem of ISP provider in Linux but could not see the option for Ethernet/Broadband in network connection. While I choose add (+) option, there has been list of VPN, VLAN. Any help.

To connect to a wired network in Ubuntu via username and password, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your Ubuntu computer to the wired network using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Click on the network icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Wired Settings".
  3. In the wired settings window, click on the "Identity" tab and select "802.1x security".
  4. Choose the EAP type used by the network (e.g. PEAP, TLS, etc.).
  5. Enter your username and password for the network in the respective fields.
  6. If necessary, enter additional information such as the CA certificate or server certificate.
  7. Click on "Apply" to save the settings and connect to the network.

If you encounter any issues connecting to the network, make sure that the network settings are correct and that your username and password are valid. You may also need to consult with your network administrator via MyAARPMedicare Login for further assistance.
