BTconnect Email address locked

We recently had to cancel our BT Broadband as the speed was less then useless (1mps). We went with Starlink who offer over 100mpb in our area.

We have BT Domains, cloud services, BT mobiles and Microsoft 365 with BT still so have lots of various products.

At no time when I cancelled the Broadband Line did the agent then tell me that we could loose access to our BTconnect.com email addresses which are all linked to our domain.

We have now been locked out of the btconnect accounts and have been told these can't be reactivated.

Customers are still emailing btconnect accounts and getting delivery receipts which is causing a really problem and I have just renewed the domain name with BT and can't get the confrmation as the email linked to this is a btconnect.com account.

Can someone help me with getting access to the btconnect accounts or am I wasting my time and do I have to start phoning customers and informing them that the btconnect.com emails now don't exisit.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received as BT Business Support have been less then helpful.
