We have been trying to get a phone line/broadband installed at our business premises. The landlord is dealing with open reach and the tenants with BT. When an order is placed with BT, the engineer turns up and can't do anything because open reach haven't done their part outside yet. Then we get a fine. Surely BT knows what work openreach have done and they must be able to check before the book in and attend an appointment?
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? They were not missed appointments, we met the engineers. It was simply that they couldn't do their bit because open reach hadn't done theirs.
Hi Ucrisps
I'm sorry you have been been incorrectly charged a missed engineer appointment fee? Have you spoken to our support team about this? You can find their contact details here.
