We have a OnePhone contract to 2028.
Since BT are cancelling the service in March 2026, should we have to pay an early termination fee if we move to another provider?
If so would the fee be capped to March 2026 if we move before then?

When I first had notification from BT regarding the ceasing of OnePhone, I contacted BT and was put through to Billing. A chap there told me that as long as we had a contract, it would be honoured to the end.
This is obviously incorrect. If we change again, this will be the third change that's been forced upon us by BT. This would seem to be a waste of resources, as each time, perfectly good equipment is abandoned and, additionally an unneccessary waste of our time.
The company in the next unit has a system from a different provider and have had none of this unheaval in all the time they've been with them. They've even been upgraded to full fibre!
So, altogether, a poor show from BT. I'm sorely temped to jump ship.
