Changing your voicemail message

You can change your voicemail message by following the steps on page 23 (Voicemail section) of the BT Quantum User Guide.

Listening to your messages remotely

You can access your voicemail messages remotely, even from a mobile phone. To access your extension voicemail remotely, you must have your calls diverted to your voicemail, and have either: 

•      A number programmed to ring your extension directly (sometimes called a Direct Dialling or DDI) 
•      A line programmed with Auto Attendant, or 
•      A dedicated DDI number programmed to access the voicemail. 

To retrieve your messages remotely: 

1.      Dial through to your extension: dial your number (sometimes called a Direct Dialling or DDI) 

 number or dial the Auto Attendant number and enter your extension number when you hear the greeting or dial the DDI number answered by the voicemail. 

2.      When your voicemail greeting answers, dial *. 
3.      Enter your extension number. If accessing the system voicemail box, dial 0. 
4.      Enter your voicemail password, then press #. 

While listening to the greeting, dial: 

•        0 - mailbox options. 
•        1 - replay messages. 
•        3 - advanced options. 
•        4 - go to the previous message. 
•        5 - go back to the start of the message, including the time stamp. 
•        6 - go to the next message. 
•        7 - delete this message. 
•        8 - forward the message to another extension. 
•        9 - help. 
•        * - main menu. 
•        # - exit. 

Once playback of messages has started, dial: 

•        0 - pause playback. 
•        1 - replay the first message. 
•        2 - go back to the start of the message, with no time stamp. 
•        4 - go back to the previous message. 
•        5 - go back to the start of the message, including the time stamp. 
•        6 - play the next message. 
•        7 - erase the message. 
•        8 - forward the message to another extension. 
•        9 - help. 
•        * - go back 10 seconds. 

In mailbox options, dial: 

•        1 - record your greeting. 
•        5 - change your password. 
•        # - return to the main menu.
