Digital switchover nightmare

Hello Folks,

I posted in July outlining the issues we have had since Feb 24 regarding digital switchover and contract renewal etc. Very very very long story short -no landline for over 8 months for a small limited company, BT unable to port our existing BT wired number to Cloud Voice Express, total loss of wired landline number (BT recommended getting a new number after 15yrs trading) Cloud voice contract signed for 5 handsets (we need one) promising the solution, no handsets arrive and landline still not working although we are on our third new router and super mega duper fast fibre broadband now which is not overly useful with no digital phone to connect to number they now cant reinstate.....(deep breath)

I would love compensation for our business losses, more importantly my time on the mobile listening to terrible hold  music only to be connected to an operator who is either inaudible or incomprehensible and a following email stating they have tried to contact me on the following date....

So... the issue is that our new provider 'Zappie Communications' managed to get our landline number back and supply a working handset and take over our broadband in TWO WEEKS -very splendid indeed.

We now have to pay a cancellation fee to BT for cancelling the contracts we were made to sign for the service they didn't provide and we have been paying the bill for both since Feb.

I'm certain this is just an unfortunate experience and as yet I have not sworn at a single person but if the hold music doesn't get you the ineptitude possibly will.

P.S. the Ombudsman requests a Deadlock letter and the owner of complaint IMP1167------ could do with a payrise for effectively avoiding any responsebility.

To this end I require another glass of wine whilst enjoying the wonderful hold music!

Good luck fellow BT customers (or not)
