Hello.

Please Can Someone Help Me Please.

We Are Residential Customers, With BTSH2 And Digital Voice, Three Handsets.

All Is Working Fine, However, Due To Technological Improvements, I Am Trying To Install The BT Business Smart Hub 3 On The Residential Line, With Digital Voice.

Through Help Kindly Provided By BT Business Online Chat, I Have The Internet And Devices All Up And Running On The Business Smart Hub 3. However. I Cannot Connect The Digital Voice Handsets, They Wont Link.

Does Anyone Know A Way Through This Situation Kindly Please?

Many Thanks

Hi, I Have Spoken To B.T Regarding This Situation This Afternoon. I Am Very Pleased With Todays Attitude To Support. Bearing In Mind My Mum Worked Solidly For B.T For 25 Years Intensely, Until 2012.

B.T Business Have Confirmed.. The BT Digital Voice, And B.T Residential Confirmed 'Third Party' Such As Yeolink, Digital Handsets ARE NOT and WILL NOT work With Digital Voice. Digital Voice Is Residential Only And ONLY works as the residential router ( SH2 ) Is Connected Constantly With Them, No Third Party Router Will Work With Digital Voice, The Only Way Forward Is To Either Migrate To BT Business, Use The Residential Phone Service As ' Inbound Calls Only ' Via Call Divert To The Mobile, ( Potentially Using BTB SH3 ), However A Bit Confusing So May Not Be 100%, Or To Use The BTSH2 Home.

Further, If You Still Want To Use The BT Business Smart Hub 3 With Residential, It Will Work For Wifi & CAT5/6/7e Via The Patch Cable You Can Connect The SHH2 (Home) With, But The Digital Voice Would Need To Be Connected To The Home Part.

There Is No Other Alternatives.

Best Wishes

Hi O44

As this relates to the capabilities of the Digital Voice handsets, I would recommend checking with the Residential team. They should be able to advise if these can work with 3rd party routers (which the Business SH3 would be for a Residential service).

Hi Beth, No, Ive Just Been Messed Around Back And Forth Constantly Between Residential And Business. Nobody Seems To Know / Unable To Answer As We Dont Hold A Business Account. The Online Business Chat Is No Help Either! Hence Why Ive Been Asking If Anyone Knows Please On Here. My Mum Worked For B.T For 25 Years. The Current B.T Team Is Appalling.
