Nobody could give worse service!

Before Christmas it was decided that we only needed one BT line on our system not two.  Firstly BT disconnected both lines in error and failed to put the call divert service on the one line when they reconnected it.  This was only discovered today after the Christmas break.  I have now spent over 3 hours on the telephone trying to resolve this.  Faults refuse to accept it as a fault and told me to talk to sales.  Sales refuse to deal with it as it is a fault!  At 1 p.m. today after being passed from one person to another for 3 hours, somebody promised to ring me back with a fault reference within 15 minutes.  It is now 4.10 p.m. & guess what, no call!  I now have to admit defeat as I have lost a whole days work and could not even leave the office, so also had to cancel three appointments.  I intend to counter-charge BT for this and will be getting a solicitor onto it in the morning.  Doubt I will ever get call divert back again so will not be paying any bills and have cancelled direct debit.  BT must  be the laughing stock of the world!!
