Billing nightmare

I transferred my account [REMOVED] to my client in  June 2023 . They cancelled the account in July. 

 

the details obviously got screwed up because I am still getting threatening emails 17 months later.

 

we have all contacted BT multiple times who say the account is closed. I can still log into the account and see bills but can’t do anything because the client’s name is on the account.

 

PLEASE stop this nightmare 🥹

Hello!

That sounds frustrating! To resolve it, contact BT support and ask for a supervisor to escalate the issue. Document all your communications. You can also send a formal written complaint and, if needed, escalate it to an ombudsman or regulatory body. Try removing your email from the account settings to stop the emails temporarily.

Tried all sorts over 17 months but because my name is not currently on the account they won't listen to me.  The settings can't be changed because the account is closed. The client has contacted BT multiple times they say the account is closed.
