There is no apparent way to contact anyone over this. Online staff say they cannot proceed without confirming the email registered to the account, which of course would be the thief's, not mine. I have been directed to BT consumer scam pages which have nothing to do with business fraud or threats of escalating to collection agencies for debts I have had nothing to do with.
