Hi,
I have created a static route in the BT Business hub which usually works as expected.
However, when the hub is power cycled the static route stops working.
To resolve this, I make a small change eg. to the subnet mask so that the save button appears on the page. I press save, then revert my change and save again.
The static route then works.
This feels like a firmware bug - static routes do not work after a hub reboot until they are saved again, even though they are present on the settings page.
Does anyone else have this issue?
Hi Beth,
Can you please let us know if there is any further update on this fix. It was April when the issue was first reproduced and we're now in late October.
To be honest, any Business that takes security seriously uses VLANs and to do that you must have static routes that persist after a reboot of the BT Business Hub. Given that reboots occur ad-hoc whenever new firmware is pushed out by BT, it is therefore without notice that our VLANs stop receiving return traffic.

Hi Will_C
I have been informed it is looking like a November/December roll out for this fix.
